Eastwood 1/4" Digital Regulator is rated 3.4667 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a pressure regulator This unit is not a pressure regulator but an air flow valve. I have bought two of these and they do not regulate pressure. I work in the process control field and I can't figure out how they could make a quality regulator in such a small unit that can take 90 PSI at the input. Fact is, it is a throttling valve. It reads pressure OK but that is it. Also the catalog says it is made out of aluminum. It isn't, the body is made from some kind of composite plastic. The catalog also says that the fittings are 1/4 NPT. They aren't, the threads are not tapered but are a straight thread and the threads are not cut very deep. I had to shop around to find a pneumatic connector that would work well. I also had to use plenty of Teflon tape to seal the threads. Anyways, it does indicate pressure well even though the display does not stay on very long. I ended up adjusting the pressure at the compressor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not really happy with it when i recived my regulator it was more expensive than advertised now . it cost 39.00 i found it hard to read as it dosent stay on very long . and it didn't my iwata lph 50 ./ g-6 gun . i think my next regulator will be a standard pressure guage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How to replace the internal battery Like the other guy said this really isn't a regulator it is a needle valve that controls the amount of air going thru the needle valve seat. So when your battery dies you can split the case at the seam using an exacto knife. The battery is a CR2032 that you can buy anywhere. Slide the one battery out and the new one in. Then some RTV on the edges of the case and your ready for a few more years. It works OK with my DeVilbiss StartingLine gun that is pretty much an air hog.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great except I really like the readout, but i wish it would stay on a little longer, say 1 minute. I like the fact it is a diaphram regulator and the swivel fitting, I just wish it could deliver more air. Doesn't work well with my SATA HLVP which uses about 14 cfm of air. Haven't tried it on my RP. Works well on a standard gun though. Would probbly work good on a IWATA HLVP though as they don't require as much air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As well as analog, Easier to Read This digital age device is just a new age way of reading the inlet pressure @ your HVLP Gun I use it both with my primer and finish gun and have the old type also. It is a bit more accurate and easy to read the number instead of a gauge. Pro's: Easy to read Great price Accurate scale Con's: 1/4 Inch outlet may be a bit restrictive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great with HVLP spray guns Excellent for use with any tool that needs precise pressure control. I use it with SATA spray guns and have fantastic fan control when spraying primers, base coats and clear coats. Love the digital feature !

Can I use this  regulator to measure water pressure?

Asked by: misha
No, these regulators should be used for regulating air pressure only. They are not built to regulate water pressure.
