Eastwood Turns 30!

Pottstown, Pennsylvania: From a lone garage in the suburbs of Philadelphia in 1978, to today's state-of-the-art distribution and office facility of 60,000 square feet, The Eastwood Company has grown from tiny 1/4 page ads selling buffing wheels and compounds in automotive magazines to annual circulation of nearly 6,000,000 full color catalogs. Today, not only does Eastwood continue to sell the buffing wheels and compounds, but they have extended their assortment to include over 5,000 products, including rust prevention, specialty coatings, paints, chemicals, HotCoat Powder Coating, welding, and more….all serving the do-it-yourself restoration enthusiast.

The Eastwood Company continues to provide unique solutions, tools, paints, chemicals and equipment for the automotive, motorcycle and truck restoration market and economical powder coating equipment, systems and supplies for the consumer and small business owners. They have continued to be successful over the last 30 years by remaining true to their commitment to continuous improvement of products and services to meet customer's wants and needs.

Ten years ago, The Eastwood Company created its online store, www.eastwood.com, to better meet the needs of its customers. Today, the website represents about half of their orders. The Eastwood Company has also expanded its market to include other divisions such as HotCoat Powder Coating Systems and Eastwood Paints. They have a retail store in Pottstown and distribute products at numerous car shows.

The mission statement of The Eastwood Company remains clear that "The Eastwood Company is committed to provide their customers with unique, high quality, automotive products and solutions that exceed customer expectations, while providing excellent service."

Eastwood has recognized changes in the marketplace since its inception and has always placed customer satisfaction at the forefront. There has been greater demand for products geared to muscle cars, street rods, trucks, and motorcycles in addition to the classics over the last several years. The recent growth of the sport tuner and lowrider markets have also placed a demand on Eastwood for innovative products that make projects easier and the hobby more satisfying. Eastwood continues to add high quality, pioneering products to their line. Hotcoat has expanded to allow the coating of much larger parts and new lines of automotive accessories allow the customer to use Eastwood as a one-stop-shop for both restoration and customization needs.

As the company enters its fourth decade of operation, old customers can expect the same high quality offerings on which Eastwood has built its reputation along with new products in the same tradition. While Eastwood has no plans to stop serving their traditional markets, customers from new automotive niches are finding out what has made the company known throughout the hobby - great products, reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff, and prompt delivery.

With the recent additions of an affordable soda blaster, the advanced Ceramic Chassis Black, and Eastwood's own line of paints, Eastwood continues its tradition of bringing professional quality tools and supplies to the average home mechanic. Eastwood is dedicated to providing unique products and innovative solutions for its customers worldwide. This dedication and adaptability ensures Eastwood's place as a pillar of the automotive community.

To celebrate this anniversary, Eastwood is offering its customers a special sale on 30 items for 30 days to celebrate 30 years! Sale items include a wide variety of popular items covering all stages of any automotive project from basic body tools to Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator to the final detailing paints. And this is just the beginning of our celebration, which includes special events scheduled for our tent at the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet in October.
