Eastwood 6 inch Dual Action Air Palm Sander is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good Item for the price. This sander is light, powerful and very smooth operating. I can not complain about anything for the short time I have used it (i hour). It is fairly low on vibration which makes it easy to navigate around the body lines of vehicle I am working on. I oiled it before adding air, it did not turn....just made a hissing sound. A little nudge got it going and it seemed fine from there on. It fits well and comfortably in my hand which should allow lots of use without fatigue. ControllingAfter I have used this sander for at least 10 hours I will update my review...to this point it looks very good and I would recommend this sander to others. the speed is also effortless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I am an autobody hobbyist and bought this sander due to the low cfm requirements. I am running it on a Husky 33 gallon, 1.5HP compressor at 90psi at the tank. My small compressor is able to keep up with continuous sanding. I haven't used it much so I can't comment on longevity of the sander but it seems to be well made for the price. There is a post below saying it is a 5 inch sander, which it isn't. It has a 5.5 inch pad, which is standard. I plan on buying the Concours paint gun as well due to low cfm requirements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for DIY I have had a great experience with this da sander. It uses only 2.8CFM @ 90PSI so using my 33 gallon air compressor powers this sander with ease. I purchased a second sander because I liked it so much and the price is awesome. I also have a few HFT da sanders. The eastwood in my opinion is a better sander not only does it use 4+ CFM less making it easier for my compressor to supply the air it needs the exhaust port is also metal compared to plastic.

Would I be able to buff and polish with this?

Asked by: Steve4827
As far as wetsanding with a fine grit sand paper yes. you will need a hook and loop pad and a soft interface pad for optimal results. but polishing must be done with buffer.

My compressor is only rated at 2.4 cfm @ 90psi.  No go on this sander?

Asked by: Esilassy
I have a Makita compressor and it is rated at 6 cfm and 140 psi. It will not work or I got a bad sander.
