Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good source for sandblast media After reading some positive reviews on a few forums I decided to give east woods blast media a try... It's consistant and works well. So far I've used it on steel, and glass. The results are exactly what I was hoping for. Delivery was fast and as well. Two thumbs up.

What kind of finish does it leave on metal? Is it rough, smooth, satin looking etc?

Asked by: billjr
The profile left behind is depends on the type of metal you are blasting. This media will leave a much rougher surface on aluminum than it would on steel. This leave the perfect texture on steel to powder coat over top of.

Is this media suitable for use in the pressurized pot blaster set ups? If so, would you recommend the 60 grit or the 90 grit?

Asked by: Quiveringfish
You can certainly run this product in one of the pressurized blasters. The grit selection is up to you for what substrate you are blasting.
