Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to beat a binks Im an ASE certfied master colission repair/finish tech and have been painting for close to 10 years now. I bought a Binks M1G five years ago and it still works as good today as it did then. Over the last few years Ive bought many other high end guns looking to "upgrade" and have found myself back to using the M1G. It is a great all around spray gun for base coats, clear coats and clear coats. It uses little air and flows great. Parts are normaly stocked at auto paint stores and priced fair. I now have three M1G guns I use every week. Two of them are the normal M1G set up. (93p & 94) I use one for clear coat only and the other for solid base coats and urethane single stage paints. The other gun I ordered with a 94AP "Blue maxx" nozzle. The 94ap nozzle is amazing for metallics, pearls and candys. It offers twice the atomization then the 93p nozzle. And is the perfect set up for metallics, pearls and candys. However it uses a lot more air, and does not spray thicker or solids well. The factory 93p/94 set up is better for someone looking for a gun to spray everything. You wont be disipointed if you choise binks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Binks M1G HVLP Spray Gun I've owned this gun for over 15 years and I've used it hundreds of times for both complete paint jobs as well as small panel repairs. It always sprays with a soft even pattern which help minimize overspray. Since I have a separate primer gun, I use this gun to spray both color and clear coats. I've owned and used several other paint gun brands over the years but none of them shoot like this one. This is my go to gun as I know it will lay down paint evenly. It's been extremely reliable and I've never had to repair it. It will still hold lacquer thinner without leaking. I usually shoot at 20 to 22 psi and this gun doesn't consume air like the other guns I've used. I would recommend this gun unequivocally to anyone shopping for a high quality yet affordable paint gun. I hope that Eastwood continues to carry this gun.
