Rated 4 out of 5 by from Epoxy Repair This product works exactly as the description describes.I do recommend using this product in a 70 degree temperature(or above)setting for faster results.Instructions explain to start sanding with 220 grit and step up to 320,depending if you have any experience doing Bondo work, you can start with 80 grit with a block to sand the high area then step up by using 180 grit, then use 320 grit for your finish work.I recommend using a 2K primer before painting

What paint is recommended for use on steering wheels?

Asked by: allenw
We recommend using an interior vinyl paint

What color choices do you have to finish the steering wheel in? Mine is not black. It's that kind of yellowish bakelite material. Will these kits do big cracks, say 1/4" to 1/2" width.

Asked by: greasemonkey
The repair compound will allow rebuilding large cracks and missing material. In regards to color, the interior dyes we offer work well on steering wheels. Another option that I have personally used is spraying the steering wheel basecoat/clearcoat. http://www.eastwood.com/paints/interior-dyes.html
