Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Satisfied! It had been over 30 years since I had even touched a spray gun and had never used a HVLP gun. Right out of the box this gun worked great. In just a few minutes I was laying the paint on the 1974 beetle I'm restoring. Very happy with this product! Great value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased with the Purchase The kit arrived as promised. Opened to find exactly what was advertised. Used the gun to spray a door with epoxy primer after changing the tip assembly from 1.8 to 1.5. Removing the tip from the gun almost required a socket and a breaker because it was in so tight, did not think it needed to be that tight. Using an HVLP gun is very new to me as I had grown up using a pressure feed type sprayer. It took some time getting the spray pattern I wanted, but in the end I was pleased with the operation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK guns If you buy these guns because it comes with a case, dont. you have to break down the gun completly so it fits back in, and after market cleaning brushes wont fit in it either. I use a craftsman cantelever box instead, and I can keep both guns fully assembled with room for all the extra goodys I need, tips, screens, brush's etc. The wrench they suplly doesnt work that well, you wil need extra wrenches. the big gun sprays awsome, the small gun sprays lean, but its prabably my fault. I'm no pro. I recomend buying a better quality single gun with 3 tips, and make your own carry case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good kit Very nice kit to start panels with. The HVLP guns are very nice to use and lay down the liquids very well. Two issues: the 1.8mm tip is REALLY big and throws a lot of primer out. Better to switch to the 1.5mm tip and get better coverage. Second, the inlet to screw your air chuck in to is very soft. The same part on both guns stripped out on the first use. Be very gentle when tightening these down or have a few extra pieces handy. Overall a very good kit for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Kit for the money Just used these guns and had very good results. I'm not a pro maybe spray a car once a year I had 1 air leak on the primer gun at the threads was able to fix it worked fine. I used Eastwood Urethane Paint and the high build primer and had excellent results. The questions I had about the products I purchased were answered in 24 hrs Thanks Eastwood

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DeVilbiss Auto Paint and Priming System For the price ,its a great gun ,spray lays down great , believe it or not it works just as good as my iwata , but be careful as not to over tighten the spray cup or you will cross thread it or damage it . I also found the threads to be soft . So if your careful you'll get some life out of this gun . All in all its a great kit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Kit These make laying down color or primer easy with full coverage. I'm no professional, but the finish came out great using these. The case is handy too, I always break them all the way down to clean them after use anyway so storing them in the case is practical for me.

I have a craftsman 26gal compressor. 8.6 @ 40psi  or 6.4@90psi. Do you think I can use the gun?

Asked by: STRUTYOURSTUFF
The spray guns in this kit require 13 CFM. Based on the specs you have given your compressor will not be able to operate these spray guns correctly.

DIY vehicle prime & paint at home - my compressor (nothing special): Husky, oil free, 33gal, 1.7hp, scfm@40=6.1, scfm@90=5.1 - will the DeVilbiss StartingLine Auto Paint Gun and Priming System work for me?

Asked by: Nick Ricky
That compressor will not supply enough air for this paint gun. The Starting line gun requires 13 CFM at 30 psi. I'd suggest using our Eastwood Concours paint gun, which only requires 4 CFM (within your compressor's capabilities). http://www.eastwood.com/ew-concours-paint-gun-w-3-tips-plasticandmetal-cup.html

Is the blue gun primer or base coat gun?

Asked by: eyreme518
One of the guns will have the 1.3 and the other with a 1.8 technically the tips are interchangeable and can be swapped to your liking of which gun you would want to be dedicated to paint or primer.

Are the guns the same or is there a difference between the two?

Asked by: Shelby17
The guns are the same, just with color coded control knobs on one to make it easier to identify for whatever use you choose - primer, base, or clear.
