Dual Voltage HotCoat Powder Coat Elite Kit is rated 4.4167 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from First pc gun, works fine Shipping to B.C. Canada takes 19-26 days, not Eastwood's fault. I find that I need to bake the first coat, then bring item out & give second coat hot & re bake to get better desirable finish, one coat looks to thin.It is a neat way to paint.Time will tell on durability. Powder comes out the side of my gun also, will have to see if I can remedy problem at connection of lid to shooting barrel.I sand blast every thing first, every thing must be clean & wiped with Pre or acetone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not to happy so far I received gun and products and once everything was set up in the shop and ready to go I find out there is no power to the gun at all. Also, powder leaked out of the top of the powder cup once air was applied. Called tech support and find out the gun needs to be replaced (right out of the box). Was there any quality control or testing at all done before it was sold to me ?? I have heard great reviews and poor reviews both about this product. So I sent the gun back and it has been 13 days since they have even thought about sending a replacement. Called customer service (on Monday) and she says it will be handled at the end of the week. In my opinion this was terrible customer service. I have loved other Eastwood products in the past but this just feel this was a bad deal so far. Hope im proven wrong once the gun arrives and I start coating...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy Fast shipping, works very very well, have already powdercoated a bunch of parts on my car with excellent results. Two suggestions for improvement (1) add a power switch to the power unit. (2) make the wire that attaches the gun to the power unit longer .....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! Fast shipping, came a couple days later. I started powdercoating that day. Everything works great! Only problem I had was powder blowing out the side of the gun where the bottle connects. I pulled the long tube off put an o ring on it and now it's fine. Overall you wont be dissapointed. Eastwood is great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied However! Great web page experience and prompt delivery... Good price for the value... However, my ground clamp hinge broke on the third day making equipment useless.. I repaired with a heavier duty clip and now even better. Highly Recomended for DIY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality and fast shipping. Got this a week ago , inspected the shipment and am happy with the kit. We're in the process of setting up a new shop so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Eastwood reassured me it comes with a year warranty if anything does come up. Everything I've ordered so far is what I had excepted.

About Dual Voltage HotCoat Powder Coat Elite Kit

This elite kit includes one of the market's best powder coating spray guns. Why powder coat? Because it gives you one of the most economical, color-durable, and longest-lasting finishes available. You'll find powder-coated surfaces are far more resistant to chipping, scratches, fading and wear than other finishes, and the color selection is virtually unlimited, with high and low gloss, metallic, and clear finishes available. Plus, thanks to the UV resistance of many of the powders, colors stay bright and vibrant longer. Texture selections range from smooth surfaces to a wrinkled or matte finish, plus rough textures designed for hiding surface imperfections.

One 8-oz. bottle of powder covers the same area as 2-3 cans of spray paint, and clean-up is easy, since you can simply sweep-up the oversprayed powder. Contains no environmentally harmful solvents. HotCoat Powder Coating System requires a 5-10psi compressed air source and dedicated electric oven (or toaster oven).

Use a disposable dust mask when handling or applying powder. Powder, like common flour, can be explosive when suspended in the air in high concentrations. To minimize any explosion risk, sweep up—do not vacuum—powder from the floor. Cure powder in a well-ventilated area. The urethane powders we sell liberate a very minute amount of isocyanates when the powder flows out. This usually occurs about 3-5 minutes after the part is placed in the oven to bake. Wear a respirator with fresh cartridges when curing or inspecting flow-out progress.
