Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super value Bought this 1 hp buffer a month ago along with the buffing kit. I've done a lot of buffing in the past and needed a dedicated buffer so I chose this model. I'm happy to report that I'm extreamely pleased with the quality, power and design of the buffer. It's smooth running with plenty of power. It really do look like a very high end quality item. The two speed switch is a very nice addition to it as well. To top it all off the Super service that Eastwood provided was over the top. It was a little slow getting up here to Canada but well worth the wait. I figure it's the deal of the year. I'm more than pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Industrial Strength Value Bar None! I Have had this unit for over 6 month now. I own my own Business and use my Buffer non stop for 7 - 10 hours 7 days a week. This is the best Value and quality dollar for dollar, I have 4 Buffers lined up in a row and I wish all 4 were the Eastwood, I would have saved allot of money. It sits next to 3 Baldors and is just as powerful as their 1 1/2 HP, just as quiet and vibration free. Having the Dual speed sector is also a great feature and really widens it's usage. In the future any more Buffers I add will be this one, I would recommend it to anyone whether professional or home hobbyist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buffer! I was looking for a buffer for long time. There are many available and since I'm on tight budget, I was going to purchase something cheap from harbor freight tools. Then I had a chance to actually use one of their buffers and it was not strong enough - with little pressure it would stop. So I started looking for stronger unit with at least 1 HP. Eastwood 1HP buffer is awesome! Good price and plenty of power for even commercial grade buffing. This unit is definitely what I was looking for. I'm restoring a vintage motorcycle right now and there is plenty of aluminum parts to buff. The job became much easier with this Eastwood buffer. The aluminum parts look amazing!! Before I was using just a buffing wheel on my hand drill - and this machine makes the difference!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buffer I just got this buff motor and got it mounted and running. It has more power than I will ever need. I bought it primarily for the 2 speed motor, I buff plastics on antique jukeboxes in the restoring process which requires the slower speed. This machine does it all! I just wish it was American made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks like a winner Bought to replace a 30 year old 1 hp buffer with thousands of hours on it that finally gave up. The Eastwood unit looked to be about the same quality of my old unit. I wasn't disappointed, it seems to have a slight power advantage over my old unit, and runs much more quietly, also the shafts are longer which is nice. This unit (even with shipping to Canada) cost me about less than1/2 the price of a comparable buffer in Canada, ( I had a hard time even finding a comparable unit, as all I could find was 1/2 hp low quality stuff) Haven't used the low speed setting yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from low price - bit low quality Just got unit, but will probably need to return - vibration so bad it moves a 75 lb steel stand and stalls under moderate pressure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love thi buff motor I received my motor buffer and it was in great condition .Powered it up and was very happy the way it runs. I us it for Tyco and sharping knifes .No uncalled for vibrations, I really love this machine. I’m thinking to get a 2nd one for rough buffing and fluff buffing. Recommend this motor to all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Hobby/Small Shop Buffer I just bought a second one of these based on my experience with the first. Motor is surprisingly smooth and has plenty of power. Runs cool, smooth and it's probably 80% the quality of a $700 Baldor
