didnt believe untill i used it !!!
seen them on line ! then seen them at a "eastwood " demo at the "meltdown" in byron illinois! this tool is awesome !!!!! i have had lots of parts sand blasted with sand,media & glass -all at a very high cost ! this tool has cut my metal prep costs at least 1/2 or more ! a must have in every shop,all my friends want to borrow mine ! thanks for the creation of this tool ! cleaning drums are not cheap BUT blasting will cost more ! THANKS mike -weld-n fab-building gassers

Great tool
Bought mine last year and its great. 4 star only because when i bought it there was no link for the small wheeled spacers that i bought, and couldnt ever use cause the spacer wasnt even listed. 5 star if they would make a large and small eraser drum for decals and sticker removal. I know of 4 companys that would ditch the air powered for the contour if they had an eraser

Can you give an example as to when this drum and sanding band would be used as opposed to the interleaf style drums? My thought is that this helps to ensure a flatter surface finish but I could be wrong. Thanks for any additional info you can provide.
This works great for metal finishing when using the Trizact bands which come in a much higher grit than any of the interleaf drums. Also, for any use with wood stripping and refinishing the expander wheel and sandpaper bands would be the desired way to go.

What is the shaft diameter measurement for the sanding drum?
The SCT tool has a 19.6mm shaft and 25.6mm ribs.

Any chance of higher grits in the sanding bands?
Currently at this time those are the only grits we have available.

Is there a drum that I could use on ffiberglass?
I wold recommend the 320 Finishing drum
