Eastwood Malibu Sunset Metallic Orange - There’s no hiding when your vehicle is painted with this brilliant high metallic orange. Rich pigments and extra coarse metal flake combine to make this one a super exciting color.
Makes 1 sprayable gallon when mixed 3:1 with a required activator
Approximate coverage: 125 SQ FT
Flake/Pearl Particle size: 50-65 microns
Max Temperature: Paint will handle up to 300 degrees without delamination, but color shift may occur, so it should not be used in a high heat setting
Made in the USA
Pro Tip: When spraying Single Stage Metallic and Pearl Paints, you can improve appearance by using the special additive Metalli-Flow Metallic Paint Enhancer to help lock and stabilize metallic and pearl particles for a perfect finish.
This premium 2-component topcoat system is blended with top-quality raw materials and advanced composition coatings technology. Superior to acrylic, alkyd and lacquer coatings. Eastwood's single-stage urethane paints hold their gloss longer and won't yellow.
*Due to the extra course metallic content, the use of a clearcoat is strongly recommended.

Lots of flake. Unique color!I used single stage Disco Silver and this orange to give this 69 beetle a unique look. I topped the paint with European clear. Lots of orange peal from the clear, so I'll have to fix that. This is my first paint job, so I am fairly happy.

color way offI purchased a gallon of the two stage to paint a hood on my car. This is only been a couple of months ago. My car is actually the 66 satellite that is pictured here on the website and it was painted several years ago. Looks great on the car but don't ever buy any paint to try to match. The gallon I purchased looks like Peach it does not look like orange and they will not back their product they said they cannot guarantee a color match. Told me every batch is different because it's mixed by different people . My painter paints for Harley-Davidson paints candy colors and anything in between he said this stuff is awful to try to match.
The directions on the label references the "technical data sheet" for gun settings but I am unable to locate the data sheet on the web site. Please advise where I can find the data sheet

I’m needing touch up paint . The vehicle was painted in Utah proximately six years ago. I purchased it four months ago and brought it to Phoenix. I’m having trouble locating anybody who can supply the paint to me as a touchup bottle.

Unfortunately we do not have this option available. The only size that we offer is what we list on our website (gallon kits). We can not give out our manufacturer or paint codes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

What size needle should be used to spray this paint? I’ll be using the concourse pro gun. Only has 1.3 or 1.7.
Asked by: Darryl
Neither nozzle set listed would be recommended. Because of the Metallic flakes within this paint a 1.4mm or 1.5mm would be recommended.

What steps are needed toapply your european clean over the top of this single stage paint?
Asked by: EricG81
Since this is a metallic you should apply the clear over this paint within 18 hours since last applying this paint. Otherwise the paint will need to be sanded and since this is a metallic you will most likely mess up the flake pattern during the sanding process so another coat or so of paint would need to be applied.
