Evercoat Super Build Primer Gallon 4:1 12577ZP is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent product! Evercoat super build is a great product! It mixes easily sprays fantastic & flows beautifully and sands very easily! I used two coats on fairly smooth body work and was able to make it very straight with a long block and 180 grit sandpaper. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone restoring a classic car or anybody who's trying to get an extremely flat and straight surface on whatever project they are working on!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thanks eastwood Ordered this product and when i recieved it the first time the lid was loose on the bottle of catalyst and it spilled in the box. Eastwood sent me a replacement right out and i had it within 4 days. Im no profesional and i had quite a time laying this down smooth. It turned out quite rough even using a 2.0 tip. Im disappointed in the sever roughness and it sand quite hard in my opinion but like i said maybe in the hands of a professional it would be different

Can I add reducer to Super Build 4:1? If so, with what reducer and up to how much?

Asked by: TimJL
You can thin this primer in small amounts with Acetone. No more than about 5% or it will affect the build of this product.

I've coated my 31 plymouth roadster body with superbuild 4:1.   Should I topcoat with urethane primer since I'm not planning to paint until I finish the build

Asked by: Randy31
If the vehicle will be sitting for a while it would be a good idea to applying a sealer to protect the primer from absorbing any unnecessary moisture.
