About Eastwood Extreme Diamond Clear for Bare Metal 8oz

The ultimate clear coat! Eastwood developed this clearcoat to be the "extreme" version of our Diamond Clears: chemically resistant, able to withstand temperatures up to 600 degreesF, plus superior UV protection. It also offers strong chip/scratch resistance, and compatibility with UV-sensitive plastics, bare metal and most paints.

If you've been looking for a clearcoat for bare metal that will resist brake fluid, hot fuel and protect most surfaces—yet be nearly invisible—you want Extreme Diamond Clear! Apply with brush or spray gun. A little goes a long way: 8 ozs. covers 4 wheels. Made in USA.

8-oz. Extreme Diamond Clear™ Gloss for Bare Metal Surfaces

Use PRE Painting Prep or Metal Wash to clean surfaces to be coated to remove all traces of grease or oil. Applies best at 70 degreesF or warmer with 50% or less humidity; thoroughly cures in 24 hours in those conditions. For best results, apply only one full-flowing coat.

used it on cast aluminum intake. Wired brushed, solvent cleaned, goes on easy but will run. Looks great.
