Anvil works ok on straight pieces, any extreem pieces you will have to use an alternative method.Hammer is the right size for beating back high spots after you beat them out.

Good for the smaller trim pieces. Finish on anvil was flawed (deep scratch) and required smoothing prior to use. Otherwise, useful tools.

Like anything else, if you throw these tools around & abuse them they will not last. But with good care they will do the job. For the discounted rate I paid for the set I am satisfied with what I got.
