Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cleaner, Surface Prep and Seam Sealer Smooth I purchased seam sealer and this product to seal seams on my 66 Cobra I am building. The video on the seam sealer suggested using the pre Painting Prep to smooth out the sealer and it worked exactly as advertised. After brushing on the seam sealer; spray a little of this stuff on an smooth it out with a brush or your finger ... looks very professional

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I purchased this along with the Chevy Blue paint to repaint my 468 BB, to say the least I was impressed. Customer service helped me track my shipment from start to finish as I wanted to material to arrive in only 5 days which it did and delivered on a Saturday just in time to begin prep and paint. The PRE cleaner is amazing I used a wire wheel to remove the old paint and then applied the PRE treatment and the block looked brand new! I applied 5 coats to the block and the finish is absolutely great. If you are painting your engine block Eastwood is the way to go. Side note I also have used the PRE as a degreaser its far and away better than the stuff you can get off the shelves

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit pricy, but really does do the job well I've purchased this product to use prior to the application of Eastwood's, "Plastic Resurfacer" as well as Eastwood, "Rust Encapsulator", and their, "Rubberized Rust Encapsulator". The adhesion of those products was excellent when prepping with "Pre Painting Prep". A noticeable difference over the product I used 1st. So yes, it's perhaps a tad expensive, but it's exceptionally effective. You can use it as sparingly as possible and get the result you are needing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pre Painting Aerosol This product worked well for me in cleaning vinyl surfaces for paint. Cleaned the surface once and let dry, cleaned a second time and let dry again before paint and it worked well. It is also useful in cleaning small parts such as bolts and even wires that have gotten oil or grease on them. Follow with an application of simple green which leaves a slight sheen and you are done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product but I have had 3 cans quit spaying I have purchased several of these cans and they have worked great but recently I had 3 cans quit spraying. I called to let Eastwood know but nothing was done.I threw the cans away since they didn't perform. I tjink they should have given me credit or sent me new cans. I have bought there products for yrs and highly recommend them although I have had only a few problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stuff You will find many uses for this stuff in the garage. It will clean and prep things fast and easy, but you will go through a can fast. I bought a bunch of cans on sale and will buy again when on sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Product. I've been using this product for many years and really like it. It isn't as "hot" as lacquer thinner but safer and easier to use with the spray nozzle. I keep several cans on hand at all times.
