Simply paint over rust with Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator. Encapsulates rust and prevents it from spreading, can be left as-is, or top coated with most any paint. Tested best by an independent lab to be the most effective rust preventive product on the market. Eastwood Rust Encapsulator has proven to be superior in sunlight resistance, preventing rust creep, and overall durability. One 15 oz. net wt. aerosol covers about 10 sq. ft. Heat resistant.
To clean your conical extension nozzle, remove the button and nozzle and attach to a can of Eastwood’s PRE Painting Prep (10041z or 11949z). Be sure to wear eye protection when swapping nozzles. Purge the PRE through the nozzle in short blasts until you are sure all contaminants are removed.

Working on enclosed spaces like the inside of my 69 Mustang Fastback trunk lid usually takes over an hour to get everything carefully coated with encapsualtor. Reaching in with different gadgets to spread the paint, rolling the piece to spread out a puddle of paint. This thing did the job way better, used a lot less encapsulator, and did it in a few moments. Tape up holes as the overspray is strong due to the excellent pressure and all over pattern this thing shoots. Small thing rocks big time!
