Black Self-Etching Primer is compatible with virtually any paint or auto finish. Single-stage formula requires no catalyst, so it's even easier to use.

For best results, clean surface with PRE Painting Prep (10041Z) first. Top-coat within 24 hours; after 24 hours, scuff with 320-grit sandpaper before top-coating. Exercise care when using this over enamel finishes, as lifting may occur. No additional thinning needed. Uses an aggressive solvent system to assure excellent adhesion to clean, rust-free metal.

NOT recommended for use under ANY of our ORIGINAL Chassis Black products.
