Super product with great results...

Price Value Quality I bought this with the intention of coating a part here or there. The process is so easy and fun that now I'm getting work from car club members. With a little time prepping your area and the part you can achieve professional results. If you are creative and a bit artistic the sky is the limit. The chip chart is fantastic and the powder coating book has some great info. My process keeps improving all the time and now I'm coating multi-color parts with no problem. I highly recommend this product.

Quality Price Value I use three different powder guns. Eastwoods original powder coating gun is still by far my favorite for small parts. I bought one of these a couple of years ago and got A LOT of use from it. I decided it was time to replace the old one....
The new one arrived. The first thing I noticed is that the powder "Deflector" tip wouldn't fit on the newer style gun (the gun is slightly different than the old model). More importantly, the cord from the power box to the gun itself is about a foot and a half SHORTER than the old one! I can't mount the box to the wall anymore. I need to basically clip it to my belt so I reach the parts! Highly disappointed about that.
Most important observation, the gun leaks powder from where the powder lid mounts to the powder tube. Every time I pull the trigger, I'm spraying powder out from the sides of my gun rather than on the part itself. Still works, just costs me twice as much in powder.
Overall, Great gun for a hobby/home user. Could use a little quality control, and a little more wire for the gun.
For your money, you will not find an easier powder gun to use. -

Great product after a couple trys

Price Value Quality This a great product. As said by others it's all in the prep work. I learned the hard way that you have to keep the part clean. I finally learned to soak the part in acetone and don't touch it until it is coated.
You can strip the old paint or powder coating off with paint stripper.
Having to pay for a powder coat color chart was not cool. I got two when I paid for one so one might have been included in the "kit" but it doesn't say that anywhere that I could find.
Paying Eastwood for a chart so that I can buy more stuff from Eastwood? That sounds like a government, Directv, or phone company marketing plan.

Value Quality Price Great product. Works great. So far Ive done a few pieces and it turns out beautifully. It all comes down to prep work. The longer you prep the metal the better the result
