Industrial Powder Colors - These industrial powders are widely used by manufacturers of lawn and garden, sports equipment, and exterior furniture. These powders cure at 400 degrees F in 10 minutes after flow-out occures in a commercial oven or 20 minutes at 400 degrees F in a non-commercial oven. Made in the USA.
|Application||For best durability powder must be applied to clean bare metal or over (<a href=" http://www.eastwood.com/hotcoat-powder-corrosion-resistant-primer-8oz.html">100 10301</a>) Corrosion Resistent Primer for increased durability. Abrasive blast and spray with PRE Painting Prep (<a href=" http://www.eastwood.com/ew-pre-painting-prep-aerosol-11oz.html">10041z</a>) or acetone. Treating the clean bare metal surface with Metal Wash (<a href=" http://www.eastwood.com/metal-wash-7-oz.html">10120</a>) or Oxisolv Rust Remover leaves a beneficial phosphate coating that improves adhesion and durability. Apply powder until full hiding of the surface is achieved. Heavier coatings may reduce durability but will improve smoothness. Cure for 10 min. at 400 degrees F in a commercial oven or 20 min. at 400 degrees F in a non-commercial oven after flow out.|
