ABOUT RYAN KRAUSE
Ryan Krause is the skilled craftsman behind Crucible Coachworks. He refined his metal shaping skills under renowned experts and now specializes in Porsche restoration and custom fabrication. Known for his meticulous craftsmanship, he combines hands-on experience with entertaining content creation to share his passion for custom cars with a growing audience.

INTRO TO METAL SHAPING
If you’ve ever wanted to learn the basics of metal shaping, this two-day class will kick off your skills. Students will get hands-on instruction on classic metal fabrication tools like the panel bag and mallet, English wheel, shrinker and stretcher, and more.
Day 1 begins with metal shaping basics, forming a basic motorcycle fender from sheet aluminum. Day 2 finishes with more advanced shaping, forming a gas tank side from scratch. All tools and materials are provided and you’ll take your completed project with you.
METAL SHAPING - LEVEL 2
Take your metal shaping skills to the next level in this two-day class taught by Ryan Krause of Crucible Coachworks. Participants will get hands-on instruction in classic sheet metal fabrication using tools like the reciprocating power hammer, English wheel, bead roller, shrinker/stretcher, and panel beater bag and mallets.
Over the two days, you’ll create a complete body panel from scratch, starting with the design, wireframe and patterning process. You’ll then move on to layout, cutting and shaping. All tools and materials are provided and you’ll take your completed project with you.
