Quality Price Value I have coated several pieces for my baja 5b rc buggy and i can't get full coverage no matter what i do the gun seems to act like there is no ground (i would like to add that these pieces have been sand blasted then wire wheeled and de greased) so if you want to powder coat i highley recomend that you get the dual voltage gun

Awesome!!
Review by Jack -
Price Value Quality Bought this gun after being charged a $120 buckets to powder coat a few small items. Went and bought a cheap used kitchen oven. Powder coated my first few items for a 59 Ford I'm restoring. They came out amazing. The process is fast an almost fool proof. If you prep the part correctly and what I mean by that is remove all rust, paint and grease then the actual powder coating is simple with this gun. The powder is fairly cheap and goes along way. There is very little waste and practically to smell. Your only limited by what will fit in your oven. Highly recommend this gun if your are restoring something.

Leaks around cap x2
Review by Bill -
Value Quality Price I bought the kit with all the goodies and gave powder coating a whirl.
The whole process is really amazing and the end result gives a professional results for the DIY-er.
Out of the box the darn thing leaked from the cap. I followed the instructions and viewed Eastwood videos several times to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Called tech support and was told to send it back.
Forward three weeks later, the second Hotcoat gun leaks from the cap too! Though not as bad as gun #1, I cannot use this as my primary gun. It is now delegated for clear and candy coats.
When I sent #1 back, I purchased the dual voltage Hotcoat gun and it does not leak. It works great.
My only other gripe would be the flimsy grounding clip on both Hotcoat units.
My recommendation is to skip this gun entirely and go for the dual voltage gun. It's work the few extra dollars. -

Leaks air & powder around the cap
Review by philipinTexas -
Value Quality Price Made it impossible to use. Since the powder cup is pressurized, any leak causes powder to go everywhere.
