This paint must be catalyzed with the included Urethane Activator (21856ZP). For increased depth and gloss, and, easier color sanding and buffing Clearcoat with Eastwood Urethane Clear, 2:1 Gallon with 2 of (50252ZP) Eastwood Urethane Clear Coat Activator, Quart. Be sure to apply Urethane finishes over properly prepped surfaces. For best durability prime bare metal with 50244ZP Eastwood Epoxy Gray Primer Gallon mixed 1:1 with 50245ZP Eastwood Epoxy Primer Catalyst. Use the 50240ZP Eastwood 2K Urethane Gray Primer Gallon mixed 4:1 with 50241ZP Catalyst Quart to help hide minor defects.

After all the prep work I did on my TBird I am terribly disappointed in the results of my paint job. The look was so dry I literally worked my fingers to the bone wet sanding to get it to gloss. Do not recommend Eastwood single stage urethane paint.

Used this to paint my '86 Corvette. Really pops!. The real concern should be with the equipment one uses. I should have upgraded to Eastwood spray equipment, but still really turned out nice. After color sanding, buffing & polishing, it's sharp!!

Compared to a competitor's (who sell a lot of speed equipment) single stage urethane, this one is much more forgiving and much more user friendly! Be sure to clear coat it for added pop! love my paint job!
