Rated 5 out of 5 by from These clamps are great I bought the cheap ones at Local place with so many low prices. they bent, stretched. and let go at the first vibration. I had one set of these. I just bought a second set putting on a rear quarter panel is hard enough. these are even better that having 2 buddies hold it in place. pushed the panel in place champed it. went to move the fender and forgot one clamp it was not moving. Worth the price, built to last and great set of extra hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the ticket Hi, You already know the clamps you get to hold the ends of tri-five chevy fender skirts don't really work. But , man these babies do a great job with their 250 lbs. of holding force. Thanks for having them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gator Grip I purchased the Pinch Weld clams for those difficult to reach areas that require a strong clamping force for alignment. These are the handiest clamps and should be in every toolbox!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small & Effective Opportunity to use them on the first day I received them. Tight location to weld a wheel well patch effectively. Seems like these will be a winner for welding tasks to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Alternate Use... I purchased these clamps for a "tarp". By using these clamps on the canopy tarp, I no longer have to worry about the wind taking it. The clamps hold really tight and I didn't have to punch holes in the trap. The female threads in the caps are perfect to put in SAE eye bolts, to add hand lines to the hold down weights. Thanks "Eastwood", great item

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around small clamps These are actually very useful little clamps! I initially bought them for clamping some of the patch panels I made for my old Jeep CJ-7. But because they have nice flat jaws, and are adjustable, and you can set the clamping pressure to whatever you need, I have actually ended up using them all over the house! Because you can adjust the holding strength, they can be used on delicate things without leaving any marks on whatever you are working on. I have used them to fix plastic kids toys, jewelry, and even some leather items that needed to be glued together! I even used them to repair my wife's favorite sandals! They are surprisingly simple clamps that just work. Now, Eastwood, if you can make these in different throat depths to work at deeper depths, you have at least one customer that will buy them all!! Excellent, simple, easy to use, adjustable, non-marring. What more could you ask for!!

Questions & Answers

I'm curious about these miniature pinch clamps. It looks like the knob makes the opening adjustable. I need to securely hold a small glass tube, only .148" (that's 3.76 mm) diameter (slightly larger than 9/64"). Can I adjust the clamp to that diameter?

Glue small rubber rectangles on the inside of each surface.

does the 1/2'' capacity means that the jaw can open up to 1/2 an inch? I have something that is about 7mm thick that I need to clamp down and was wondering if this would be able to do it.

Asked by: Alvaro
Half inch is the maximum the jaws will open up to accept material.

I am a Tool Designer at Textron Aviation in Wichita Kansas. I am needing to put your Pinch Weld Clamp in a Tool Design I am working on, do you have a CAD model of this that you could send me? I am using Catia V6 and .stp or .step format is best for us.

Asked by: Chris Clyde
Unfortunately we do not have any CAD models of any of our products to send out.
