About Hi-Temp Lab Metal 24 oz

Hi-Temp Lab Metal withstands 1000 degreesF and adheres to any clean, dry metal; clean with our Lab Solvent (10208ZP) first. Thin with Lab Solvent (10208ZP) to ease spreadability. Typically dries in 24 hours; heat cure at 425 degreesF for 1 hour before exposing to high temperatures. Buff for a satin smooth aluminum finish, then paint or powder-coat if desired.

The product drys so fast, it starts to cake before you can apply it. Then it won"t stick to the steel. I tryed several different techniques with no success. Even when you prep the surface and add solvent to the filler as recommended. Sorry guys, It was a big waist of money and time.

i bought prouduct from associates recomendatation. i needed something to seal small holes on exhaust pipes on my motorcycle. they are chromed and prouduct didnt adhere. iam not blaming him , i dont think i explained it right to him.
