About Bloxide Weldable Primer - Aerosol

Bloxide - The preferred weld-through primer. This Aluminized de-oxidizing primer insures x-ray quality welds. Promotes the formation of Aluminum oxide at the weld site to reduce porosity. Prevents corrosion of coated steel surfaces for several months of outside storage. Easy spray on Bloxide Aerosol 12 oz net wt. (16050Z) application. For longer term corrosion prevention use Zinc Rich, Cold Galvanizing Compound Aer (16006Z).Due to the new regulations pertaining to paint recycling we are unable to ship this product to Alberta Canada at this time.

One 12 ounce net wt. aerosol. Covers about 6 square feet.

Bloxide Weldable Primer is also available in quarts ( 16055zp ) for spray or brush application.

Use this coating to actually enhance weld quality. The formation of aluminum oxide pulls other contaminants to the top of the weld puddle.
