About Eastwood Self-Etching Primer Black Aerosol 16 oz

Lacquer-based, Self-Etching Primer is compatible with virtually any paint or auto finish. Self-etching formula bonds better to bare metals than other aerosol primers, and since it requires no catalyst, it's even easier to use.

NOT recommended for ANY of our ORIGINAL Chassis Black products.

For best results, clean surface to be painted with 10041Z PRE Painting Prep or 10120 Metal Wash . Goes on thin and can be used with any additional primer or topcoat. For best results, topcoat before 24 hours have elapsed; after 24 hours, surface must be scuffed. Exercise care when using this product over enamel finishes since lifting may occur. Shake can for at least 2 minutes before spraying. Work in a well-ventilated area.

Needing to prime small parts which were cleaned, sanded or blasted this product performed flawlessly. No Need to mix small batches of primer or clean my spray guns after painting saved me a lot of time. It has very good adhesion and is an excellent base for any final paint. I highly recommend this product for its performance having excellent quality as Eastwood products are known for.
