About Spot Weld Gun w/2 Electrodes
Spot welding is fast, avoids distortion and confines heat. Simply connect the spot welder's cord to the electrode holder on your home arc welder, and ground it as you normally would. Use the trigger to touch the electrode until a molten puddle of metal is formed. Then pull the trigger up to break the arc. Each electrode provides 60-100 welds; two electrodes are included. Includes two heads: one with four prongs for welding flat surfaces, and one with two prongs for corners and tight spaces.

Your Review (submitted on December 4, 2011):
i ordered this spot welder and recieved it a couple of days later, i read the reviews telling me not to buy it, and they mostly said, worked 1 out of 6 or 1 out of 10 times. being a welder i thought that if it welded 1 out of however many times, that it worked, and it was operater eror. i got it in the mail, pluged it onto my welder and tried it 10 times on rusty , oily sheet metal.it worked great on rusty oily sheet metal, and it will not even pry apart, like they suggest to do to check the weld, it didnt burn through, it didnt fall apart, it didnt fail. it worked great. the reason the quality mark isnt a 6 is because it is a cheap ittle spot welder, very well worth the price, but if we are being honest, you can get a much better welder for ALOT more money.i'm restoring 1940s harley trike fenders, adding sheet metal indide and using eastwood's leadind kit to lead the holes on the outside, te fenders are pretty rusted, and it welds just fine, pay attention to what you are doing, no problems here, at this price, buy it try it.

I bought one when they first came out. It works great on thin sheet metal. I spot welded a flimsy bolted metal typing table and it made it nice and solid . it works great on thin sheet.Value Quality Price -

Bought this device and tried it out. I tried to us it with AC and DC and still I might get a decent looking spot weld 1 out of 10 and even the decent one is oxidized. This device doesn't have any sheilding gas so you end up with oxidized welds even when you get a good one. Most of the time the arc just wanders around and will melt away holes in the metal. If someone can make this thing welder better I would love to know what the secret is.Value Quality Price -

Yes it spot welds, well kind of. Tried it out and tried many methods, amperage ranges and even AC and DC on my welder. I could get a half decent spot weld about 1 out of ten tries. Even the decent spot weld was not so great since there is no inert gas to sheild the so called weld it's just all oxidized. Most of the time the arc would just wander around all over and burn holes. This tool still needs some more development. Not very happy with this at all.Value Quality Price
