About Radiator Black Gloss Paint 12 oz
Besides the fact that standard engine paints are too thick for a radiator because they can interfere with heat transfer, and block air flow between the cooling fins, standard paint also tends to flake off radiators. Radiator Black Gloss helps solve that problem.
Acrylic enamel sprays on thick enough to cover completely, yet thin enough to not interfere with heat transfer or cooling fins. Ideal for radiators, heater cores and air conditioning condensers. Each 12-oz. aerosol can covers 6 sq. ft.; most radiators require 2 cans for full coverage.
Due to regulations pertaining to paint recycling, at this time we are unable to ship this product to Alberta, Canada.
12-oz. Radiator Black Gloss aerosol
Radiator Black is heat-resistant to 300 degreesF. Its high-gloss, low-build finish is ideal for radiators, because heavier coatings restrict efficiency. To straighten fins, use our 43078 Radiator Pliers & Fin Rake Kit. Then wash and spray with 10041Z PRE Painting Prep to remove residual grease and oil. Most radiators require 2 cans. Lacquer-based. Use a light coat of our 16014Z Self-Etching Primer, Aerosol for greater durability. Use these products in a well-ventilated area, or wear a respirator.

Does not build up too thick too fast, as desired.Price Value Quality
Should not have any negative impact on heat transfer.
For show quality, you have to be sure all solder runs and spatter are cleaned best as possible from tanks, since gloss finish highlights ALL imperfections. -
