I agree with some of the other reviews, it works well but the blades will brake on the slightest snag. One of the blades broke when I was removing it and fliping it over. if you buy this buy lots of extra blades.

Easy to use. Dimple the middle of the weld to hold the center point and cut. The outer layer comes right off without leaving a hole in the under layer. Tool is durable and a great value.
Functions but expect to purchase many bits. (Posted on 9/12/09)

First off this thing does a good job of cutting around the actual spot weld. The problem though is that if you catch it funky in any way it will snap the teeth off. You can still cut with a few teeth missing until you ultimately catch it again and snap the rest off. If you purchase this just expect to purchase more bits and do yourself a big favor and drill pilot holes into the welds before you try to use this tool. If it starts walking you will end up breaking teeth. I may have tried something else first if I had known this but I prefer to not put a hole through both pieces if I don't have to.

These cutters cut well but are very brittle. The slightest hang up and the teeth all shatter off. also found that drilling a small centering hole for the center pin to ride in helped. The first hole I drilled broke my first set of teeth. was able to get better desalts after a while but still went threw 4 sets (two cutters) drilling out 30 or so spot welds.
