(Q) What paints can be used in this tool?
(A) Many types of paints, inks, even glues work well in this tool. Most brands of sign painter's enamel work great right out of the can. Oil- and water-based art mediums are ideal. Most modeler's paints will work, but avoid thin, watery mediums. Conventional house paint can be used for interior/exterior decorating. Even some decorator enamels and automotive paint may be used.

I mucked around for about an hour with my Beugler pinstriper trying it out on paper, canvass and a couple of old fuel tanks and was really impressed with the ease of using it, if you buy one try it on the canvass as it is brilliant. Have done my motorcycle rims and once the "friends" saw it it was the old "how about doing mine" routine which was all fine as it is all practice which will only make you better.

I pinstriped my motorcycle wheels... 10 minutes for both start to finish! They came out perfectly pinstriped with zero flaws!!! Super easy to use and clean. It is a great product!!!

I just spent 30 minutes with my new striper, I took the back off the old lady's dryer to practice. I thought it would be better for practice than paper since it was enameled and had all the contours you could ever find on a car including louvers. With my experience in calligraphy (a steady hand) this tool had me striping quickly with fairly good results. I would suggest to anyone to practice only 20-30 min a day. More than that seems to be counter-productive. You wont be an instant Pro, but this tool lays down a uniform line that will impress. Oh and don't tell the wife.
