1-HP Buffer has dual speeds (3500/1725 rpm), so it's perfect for buffing metal or plastics. 3/4"-diameter shaft fits buffing wheels with 3/4" arbor holes. Includes two 1" and two 2" spacers, four 3-3/4" flanges and retaining nuts. Overall actual width is 26-1/4". Shaft extends 6-15/16" beyond the bell-shaped sealed motor housing. 120vAC; 750w/370w; 6.3 amps for 3500 rpm (1 HP), 3.3 amps for 1745 rpm (1/2 HP); 3500/1745-rpm peak speed, 3450/1700-rpm running speed; C/UL-listed. One-year limited mfr's. warranty. Imported.

Buffing Kit includes: eight 10"-diameter, 3/4"-wide buffing wheels (2 each: sisal, loose, spiral, and canton flannel) designed to hold more compound and last a long time; 6 Buffing Compounds with the proper abrasive for any project (1 each: emery, stainless, Tripoli, plastic, jeweler's rouge, and white rouge); instructional DVD. Kit also includes: buff rake, dust respirator, face shield, gloves. Get professional results when buffing stainless, brass, aluminum, pot metal and plastic.

Sturdy Pedestal Stand is 30-1/2" tall, with a platform that measures 11" x 8-3/4"; slotted to accept most motors. Some drilling may be required. Feet and platform are cast iron, connected by a steel tube. Stand must be bolted to the floor.

I am buffing all of my stainless and aluminum trim for my Chevelle Wagon and it is coming out beautiful. Watch the video and it is really simple to get a great job.

Some might say you need the biggest machine to acheive high high quality polishing. I have found this machine has done its job and then some. Of course I will say the result may vary depending on the materials your polishing. Some may have more tarnish which will require a different technique to achieve the shine your looking for. Very good shipping and quality product! I would reccomend this item to the PRO or to the DIY person at home.
