I've been using this exact lead for many years with excellent results. Consistent alloying and predictable results every single time. That's nice to have when going to work on a hand craft like this. The same heat, same motion, same results every time.

This 30/70 Lead-Tin Soldering Stick flows much easier than Leadfree and it is much cheeper than Lead Free. Use good ventilation and a mask.

Use of Eastwood's 30/70 body solder is like any other. A properly prepared substrated is the key and will allow good adhesion and workability of a good 30/70 tin/led led combo as purchased through Eastwood. I have had no issues with use of their body solder and find the smaller 1/4 lb. sticks easy to melt and paddle. A good product for an average price.
