I recently goofed up when I was powder coating a motorcycle caliper. It had to be stripped before I could recoat it. Regular stripper didn't have much effect on the tough coating and sandblasting was almost completely ineffective. I bought Eastwood's Powder Coat and Paint Dissolver and it did the trick. It took several applications and some patience, but it did indeed dissolve the powder coating and I was able to finish the part properly. It works well and it seems to go a long way. I would definitely recommended having some in your shop if you plan on powder coating - it will save you time and aggrevation.

I run a small powder coating business out of my garage, and there has been many a time where the color has not come out to the expectations of the customer and must be stripped off. I invested a lot of money in paint strippers and elbow grease. I purchased this product in hopes that it would save me time and be a faster and cheaper alternative. It has surpassed every expectation! Just set the parts in the solution for a few minutes and the powder gels and dissolves away! This product has saved me HOURS of work getting powder out of little nooks and hard to clean areas. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I tried this product and was blown away!!!!Why have I been wasting my time and money on aircraft stripper?Eastwoods powder dissolver works fast,doesn't have an overpowering smell and it doesn't melt your flesh off if you happen to get a little on you(wear gloves tho).Thank you Eastwood Just a little tip,if you warm the part a little tis product works much faster.

I had to remove lots of powder from a customers old Honda valve cover and I could not believe my eyes. This stuff truly melts the powder away without damaging the part.

I had to remove hybrid powder coating from a number of flat panels, about 20 sq ft in total and 1/8" thick. It looked like an impossible task with a belt sander, but a couple of jugs of this stuff and some HDPE sheets (albeit a bit hard to come across, if you're stuck check your local election lawn signs, most of them are HDPE) and it was done with almost no effort on my part. The only hard part is drying the resulting gunk for a couple of days in order for disposal without leaving it outside in any rain, but that's easily surmountable. All around though, I am very impressed!
