Whether fitting new hard lines, or decreasing the bend radius next to an end fitting, this set is indispensable. I used the tool to bend a piece of 5/16 steel brake line tubing and found that it was difficult to use without mounting the bender in a vise which it wasn't designed to do. The right angle bend ended up with a crimped section which didn't effect my intended usage but was unexpected. I think the tool could be improved by a rectangular base for use in a vise or with a bench top bolt down capability. I believe that the problems probably would not occur with soft aluminum or copper tubing but bending steel brake lines are the more likely application for this tool.

I bought these for my truck I'm restoring, and they worked out great for the 3/16 brake lines. I haven't tried the 3/8 fuel line yet, but I'm sure they will work like a champ.

I purchased the tube bender and forming pliers after searching the Internet high and low.
I needed to run new brake lines on a project car I am building.
Armed with the bender and pliers I successfully ran the brake lines in one go without a single kink.
The bender is simple to use and creates perfect curves, while the pliers are great for those tight spaces and final alignment.

Easy to use , great value for your dollar, I have used VERY high end tools when working on aircraft lines and these tools provide a comparable ease of use and end product without the cost. Great for brake lines.

It is a number of years since I last used pipe/tubing benders. This one, is really easy to use,and bends are formed without kinks or stress in the tubing.
The pliers work really well,and give you tight bends exactly where you need them.
All in all,I am pleased with the performance and quality of both tools.
