Details
Eastwood's Self-Etching Weld-Thru Primer combines the benefits of a weld-thru and the capabilities of a traditional Self-Etch Primer. This unique formula has organic binders that replace conductive heavy metals such as copper and zinc. These organic binders will burn off during the welding process leaving a corrosion resistant etching primer. This product will reduce spatter and distortion caused by excessive heat that occurs during the welding process. Compatible with MIG, TIG and arc welding. The etching primer will enhance adhesion and durability and is compatible with most top coats.

I am a welder/fabricator by trade, Makes welding 20 ga difficult, even with .023 wire. Better to coat and then clean to bare metal at the precise weld locations.Price Value Quality -

Horrible as weld-thru. Poor arc and lots of spatter, hit-and-miss whether it welds through or not. May work better with thicker metal, but with lower settings for sheet metal its awful.Value Quality Price -

Seems to work well. It doesn't diminish the arc when Mig welding. I'll purchase again. Which is was 7 dollars or so, like most quality spray paints (rustoleum, etc.).Quality Price Value
