    Application

Plastifix can be used by sprinkling the powder onto repair or joint mating area and wetting with the Plastifix liquid until the powder is saturated. Plastifix can also be applied using the needle method. To use this method place a small amount of powder in the included plastic cup, place a small amount of Plastifix liquid in the small applicator bottle and affix the needle. Place a drop of Plastifix liquid on the powder and transfer to the repair area, repeating as necessary to fill the repair. Use the molding bar with one of the above techniques to fabricate missing sections. Use in a well ventilated area.

    FAQ's

Not for use on Polypropylene or Polyethylene. Of the 3 different Plastifix kits we sell, black is the strongest, white is the second strongest, Clear is the weakest but works well for lens repair.

Great product and works just as advertised. Just don't expect to get PlastiFix... I ordered Plastifix and they sent me Plastex for some reason. Worked well anyways to fix the front grill of my '70 Charger that had missing tabs and cracks everywhere.

I used this product on a guitar chainsaw case with a broken tab causing one of the latches to be non-functional. I watched the included video and then set about to making the repair. The case is black and I was uncertain what type of plastic it was manufactured from. I was able to recast the broken tab by molding one of two remaining tabs and the finished product looks flawless. The case dates from 1981 and is no longer made. I recently saw a chainsaw case on an auction site for $249.00. This product worked great and saved me a lot of money!

This product saved my main part of the dashboard. It was cracked in many places and is no longer available to replace. The stuff works as it says now for the "but" as the other reviewer has said about the mold bar use a pan you don't need for cooking food again to heat it up for molding because it does leave residue on the pan. I used it to recreate a boss for a mounting screw area and it worked fine. You must have a Dremel tool for prep and fine finishing of mounting surfaces.

I didn't know EW sold this product, but I ordered it from the manufacture at a slightly higher price. Either way, I repaired some broken parts on my sportbike for pennies compared to new plastics.

Easy to use and the repaired area is stronger than the original part was.

I just used this product to repair a broken area on an interior panel. The mold material worked perfectly and the repair looks as good a "new". I doubt this part is available any more so this product saved me not only $$ but time trying to locate a part. The instructional video CD was great and much better than most written instructions. I know I will be using this product many more times.

It works but n ot as easy as the dvd. The dropper is very poor quality so it makes use difficult. After one use it was very clogged and I have to throw it out. The mold bar was not as easy to use as the video seemed to make it either. However with that said when it does set up it is really impressive how strong it is. It files easily. So for 30 dollars it more than paid for itself repairing the tab on my camaro dashboard. Doing larger parts is going to be difficult with the dit provided. It may just take more practice on my part too.
