Works good on plastic, also on non-lead contained metals. Discovered tricks, tweaked out imperfections and modified the actual chemicals to be able to actually do higher quality Chroming on quality pieces, with a little research and playing around with liquid Chrome, it's a solid and not just a simple cheap base!!!!! Overall I'm satisfied.Quality Price Value -

its a long process. i suggest practice first. then tons of sanding and buffing before you get started on the chrome. for metal stuff might as well send it to be rechromed, but for restoring plastic parts this is a good way to go. i restored my 1966 Barracuda dash panels and it turned out OK. looks a little more like polished aluminum than chrome, but maybe thats better, because it gets pretty shiney in there on a sunny day. all in all this chrome kit is as good as the operator applying it, so be ready to have patience. Only one product complaint: should come with a bigger bottle of the chrome.Price Value Quality
