!st unit broke after one use. Called Cust support and was sent a second one. It too broke...called Cust support and decided to get a different item. Eastwood has always stood behind their products. I believe they just got a bad batch of these brake bleedersPrice Value Quality -

Did not hold vacuum from the beginning. Don't waste your time or money on this garbage that was made overseas. No way is this made with pride here in the USA. Go back to the old method, piss of the wife or have your kid jump in the seat to press and release the brake pedal. I left a message for Eastwood but nobody ever contacted me back.Price Value Quality -

This unit was fine for the first year, til I took it off the shelf and tried to use it. It worked for the first three wheels, then , as if it were allergic to brake fluid, it broke in four places all at once; came apart in my hand. Should'a left it on the shelf(at Eastwood).Price Value Quality -

I bought this about 3 months ago and finally used it today. Well I did the rear passenger side first and all was well. When I went to do the other side I noticed that there was no vacuum. I inspected the unit and to my surprise the main body that the gauge connects to came apart. I wasn't,t aware the Eastwood was getting their stock from Harbor Freight.Price Value Quality -
Works good so far, but how long?

We bought this unit to have a vacuum pump to milk our goats with after my wife broke her hand after dumping her Honda motorcycle. We use it twice a day, every day. Being all made of plastic, I does kind of worry me about it's ability to last, but I hope it lasts long enough to get my brakes done on my 68 Firebird. Would I buy it again? Probably not. I'd go to an all metal one just so it "feels" better. I am really careful when I start pumping this unit.Price Value Quality
If that one guy (Been there done that), who complained about the threads leaking would have read the directions, he would have learned that Eastwood recomends using Teflon tape on the threads to avoid leakage. Kind of a pain in the a**, but if it works...
I don't know about the "pressure" part. I tried to get it to make preasure and couldn't figure it out. Of course, I am old so who knows! LOL!! Maybe these other guys figured out how to get it to pressurize by accident, and are hooking it up wrong, and the pressure just blows the unit apart. I have an air compressor for all the pressure I want. Anyway, not a good review, not a bad review.

Finally got the suction to work after holding the connection on with one hand. Watching the pressure gauge go down, started looking and the plastic around the gauge threads were broken. Went from right out of the box straight to the trash can. Ended up using the fashion way. Worst product that I have bought.Price Value Quality -
