The acual performance of the nozzle was fine, with the exception that the inner core (the threaded portion) came out of the nozzle. Tried to epoxy it back in - nothing doing. I looked at other reviews, this is not an uncommon occurrence.

I found this very usefull. The main key this using this is having absolute metal to metal contact at the point of the weld, otherwise your pissin in the wind. I ordered it without the pliers, but wonder if it would have been better with them. it produces a very flat , hardly raised weld that does penetrate. It doesnt work in all locations but then neither will a spot welder.

would recomend.

Kind of hard to see where your at. I think I would have better use of it with the spot weld pliers. If you don't know how far your wire stick out should be this will come in very handy. I suggest if you need this to also go with the pliers. Overall not bad.

So I took my nozzle off and the Spot Weld Nozzle went on smooth. Problem was that it kept going. Since it never got snug, I decided to take it off. The nozzle came off, but the core with the threads stayed on my welder. Not sure what to do with it since I can't weld the core in place and nothing comes to mind of some sort of an epoxy that can handle the temperature the nozzle reaches. If you are able to weld, you shouldn't waste your money. I just thought it would be convenient and may even put down a slightly cleaner weld for a less grinding on bigger jobs where I have a couple dozen or so welds.
