About 18 LB Vibratory Tumbler Kit

Simply add your hardware, brackets and media to the bowl and switch the unit on. Each of the two 15"-dia., 7-1/2"-deep bowls included holds up to 18 lbs. of media and parts. Sturdy base prevents unit from "walking" off the bench, and the sealed bowls allow use with our liquid additives. Eastwood Tumbler Additives, used with the green pyramid media, cut tumbling time by up to 50%. Includes a drain tube for emptying liquid additives you may use. 120v AC.

Assure electrical cord and plug are in safe working condition before use. Do not allow the plug to be exposed to water or moisture. Make sure the bowl is securely tightened to the tumbler base before use. If tumbler is to be operated for extended periods, securely clamp or bolt the unit to the workbench. Periodically check the unit during operation to assure stability and that the components are rotating within the media. Must be plugged into a GFI outlet when using our Speed Clean or Speed Polish liquids.

Add the 7 lbs. of Green Rust-Cutting Media and up to 11 lbs. of bolts, brackets washers, etc. Large enough capacity for underhood hardware, suspension bolts and small brackets. Rust removal will take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on severity. Once rust is removed, rinse parts with clean water or PRE and put back in the tumbler with the 7 lbs. of Dry Shine to produce parts that look as good as new.

Put it on the floor. It will end up there anyway. The plastic is brittle and will break when it hits the floor. The weight that gives the vibratory motion will get loose and the thing goes crazy. Mine will be running smoothly and will go absolutely beserk and vibrate the knob off. Do not buy this product.

This item I got through Eastwood's Ebay store, which saved me $50 and no shipping cost. It does work great, but if you have more than light surface rust or heavt paint, I would order the brown pyramids as well. I had incident after about 18-24 hours of overall run time. Two of the springs came loose, they are held down by rubber compression nuts. This caused violent shaking and the motor eccentrics to cut the ground wire in half. I repaired it myself, with no cost to me. I do recommend when buying this tumbler to go over all the screws to make sure they are tight, especially the spring compression nuts. Also use a zip tie to keep the wire bundle inside farther away from the motor. Definitly use the additives with the green pyramids. I have never achieved the amount of shine shown in the picture, but I have never let the dry shine run for more than about 4-5 hours. Overall, much less expensive than other tumblers of this size on the market and great at cleaning parts. If you can afford a blast cabinent, then this tumbler is redundant.

i am very satisfied with my tumbler, it has a double purpose, i clean parts and tools and with the second bowl that comes with it i tumble rocks for my 6yr old son. both of us are very happy with it. it is so quiet i placed it in the utility room, cant tell its running two rooms away.

I also had this tumbler in service for a short time and it burned up with a small amount of bolts inside. Eastwood was very good about taking it back for a return. When I opened the new one the base separated from the bowl springs. The quality is very poor. I just hope the new one lasts , but after reading the last review I'm very skeptical.

I purchased my first unit about 4 weeks ago and used it to clean up a small amount of nuts/bolts making sure not to exceed the weight limit. After running about 4 hrs the unit simply quit working. Eastwood return policy was great and I got another unit last week. I went to try this unit last weekend and the same thing happened !! it burned up in about 4 hours. I am stumped now and have a call into technical service at Eastwood to see if they have had a bunch of returns?
