Eastwood's 220v MIG 175 Welder uses its 175-amp output to handle almost any welding job, and comes with a spool gun for aluminum, stainless and steel.

Very Happy with both machines

I have been a Weld Technician for 15 years. I have worked with only indstrial welders. I was a little sceptical of the welder at first but now that I have welded 20 ga & 1/4" I am impressed with the welder as well as the plasma cutter. When I first seen the Plasma cutter I the size made me think this was a mistake. But when I used it to cut 2 1/4" peices of steel welded together off a boat 2 trailer I became very happy with both machines.Quality Price Value -

I had to replace the first welder and cutter due to both units were damaged before placed in packaging. Second welder works great. Had to return the second cutter as it was a dead unit. The third cutter arrived and worked great for about a dozen saddle cuts on some pipe for fencing and stopped creating an arc. Tech support was great along with customer service until the thrird cutter went out. They stated due to warranty policy they could only credit me for the cutter as they could not sent a forth unit out on warranty. I was willing to work this out with patience but Eastwood dropped the ball on this on. They said if I still wanted the cutter I could purchase another one at the regular price that would be approx $50 more that with the combo.Price Value Quality
I have done business with EASTWOOD for years and am surprised at this policy. I feel violated. -
Welder is OK, Plasma cutter not working properly after 2 cuts

I will not give a complete review until issue is resolved. I sent a email to Tech Support waiting answer. Issue is plasma cutter comes on initially, will not reignite for second cut. All connections are tight and metal is new and clean.Air is ample and only air comes out with no spark. Not sure, but power light stays on even when unit is in off position. Review is for plasma only. welder is good so far. Alot of plastic in construction of both units which reduces cost but makes for lesser quality than metal housings and connections.Get this resolved and I will give a much higher review.Price Value Quality -

I have been welding for 40 years, and none of the machines I have used were as user friendly as these. Both worked great right out of the box.Price Value Quality

bought package after research on the web and reviews. price can't be beat. used the plasma cutter and put the cuting torch away for large jobs, still playing with the settings on the mig but so far looks to be a good one to work with on lighter metals. would recomend to those looking for either or both for diy jobs. warrenty pretty darn nice as well. 3 years GREAT.Price Value Quality
