These reviews crack me up, like these are really good tools, LOL! If you have any loose tooth fillings, this sander will save you a trip to the dentist because it vibrates so much.
Very good Item for the price. (Posted on 6/18/2014)

This sander is light, powerful and very smooth operating. I can not complain about anything for the short time I have used it (i hour). It is fairly low on vibration which makes it easy to navigate around the body lines of vehicle I am working on. I oiled it before adding air, it did not turn....just made a hissing sound. A little nudge got it going and it seemed fine from there on. It fits well and comfortably in my hand which should allow lots of use without fatigue. ControllingAfter I have used this sander for at least 10 hours I will update my review...to this point it looks very good and I would recommend this sander to others. the speed is also effortless.

Hobie 16' project for the Spring and needed a good sander. This lil' rascal kicks butt! 80 Grit then 220 just zooms the old paint and dings away and leaves everything smooth as a baby's butt. Definetly recommend this DA sander.
Very nice for the money (Posted on 1/5/2014)

Don't be fooled by the low price. These sanders work as well as others costing 2 or 3 times the price. We use them for jitterbug finishing stainless steel parts in a metal fab shop and they're great. Wish there was an option for a 5" PSA pad as the smaller sizer is easier to get in tight spots but they're easy to change out and we stock them. We'll be ordering more!
So far so good. (Posted on 11/4/2013)

In all fairness, I have yet to put this to work. I did check to see how it worked with my compressor. My compressor says that it will provide 3.8 CFM @90 PSI. Frankly I believe the manufacturer is exercising a slight amount of hyperbole there. Regardless, my compressor was not able to keep up with the first Dual Action Palm Sander I bought (not from Eastwood). I reluctantly returned it thinking that was that, as I was not inclined to buy another compressor. I came across this Sander and noticed the lesser volume of air it requires. So that, so far, is what I tested – it passed with flying colors. My only dislike is that if you lose the thin flat wrench that comes with it, you are not going to have an easy time of changing pads – so don’t lose it! I wish it had a smarter setup in that regard. But hey, for the price the value is terrific.

It's about the cheapest(price wise) 6" palm style sander out there and it works great, A lot of DA sanders or too aggressive and hard to control but this one feels good in my hand and is easy to use.
    is a 5" sander not a 6" (Posted on 3/17/2013)
    Review by bigtankjones
I like this sander. But it is labeled as a 6" but the one I got is a 5"sander. I bought 6" sanding disc's for it from Eastwood. Which are to big for the pad. Eastwood needs to fix the label for the sander. All in all it is a good sander. I can't wait to get to the body work on my Monte.

Eastwood Note: We found a small batch that had the incorrect pad coupled with the sander. Please send us an email at: orderhelp@eastwood.com for the correct replacement pad if you had that problem.
