About IR Cure System With Dual Voltage Gun

Why powder coat? Because it gives you one of the most economical, color-durable, and longest-lasting finishes available. You'll find powder-coated surfaces are far more resistant to chipping, scratches, fading, and wear than other finishes, and the color selection is virtually unlimited, with high and low gloss, metallic, and clear finishes available. And thanks to the UV resistance of many of the powders, colors stay bright and vibrant longer. Texture selections range from smooth surfaces to a wrinkled or matte finish, plus rough textures designed for hiding surface imperfections.

Light housing measures 12.25" wide x 9.5" high x 6" deep. Lamp can be tilted 45 degrees up or down. 10" arm connects the light to the stand and can be locked in any position on the stand from 1' to 6' above the floor. Unit is rated at 1800 watts, and requires a 120vAC 15-amp circuit.

(Q) How often should the lamp be moved over the workpiece?
(A) Refer to the included instruction booklet's cure charts to determine how frequently the light should be moved.

(Q) What are some other tips?
(A) Long parts are best cured by hanging vertically, working from the bottom up. An entire part should be powder-coated before the curing process begins. If the part has seams it can be coated and cured in sections.
Do not focus the light on combustible materials. Do not operate the light unless it is securely attached to the supplied stand.

Uneasy sale service but great value when said and done! (Posted on 5/5/12)

When I first received the package it was missing some parts, the color chart, and the infrared thermometer. I am getting this corrected EXCEPT for the infrared thermometer because they say it doesn't come with one. Feel free to check the "Content" tab EASTWOOD! It also does not include instructions on set up or how to operate! What gives?! I thought Eastwood would be more professional and full proof. Negative company experience but cheap and quality product. Overall, after you wing it and do some basic research it becomes fun and effective! Mixed emotions here but as long as I never have to deal with Eastwood again I will buy more of their products.
