I used this primer as a sealer for my trailer frame before applying ceramic chassis 2K paint. It sealed nice, making smooth surface for the 2K ceramic paint.Great results. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality epoxy primer for a reasonable price.

I had to try this stuff out to see what I've been missing. In my opinion it's comparable to several industrial grade epoxy primer's I've tried in the past. I would not consider it a premium product. It says sands good after a few days which is uncommon with most epoxy primers and the same for this stuff-poor sand-ability in my opinion. Solvent resistance also appears poor even after full cure. I would consider it for use on trailers and farm equipment but the cost isn't advantageous when compared to industrial primers which appear to be comparable. For automotive use Southern Polyurethane epoxy primer still gets my vote for quality and price.

I haven't used this product yet but the shipping was fast. My only complaint is that the cans were bent up really bad due to bad packing. It was very lucky that the lid wasn't loosened enough for the product too spill.

Great price for an epoxy primer. Wet sands great but even after 4 days in a heated shop it did not dry sand without plugging up sand paper.

I ordered this after the primer base I ordered arrived by itself. After dealing with a company that priced multi component primer and paint systems together with their "part B", this was a disappointment. Essentially Eastwoods prices are more than the other place's, but they hide it by only telling you to order part B separately in the fine print. We'll see how good the quality is. Since these items are usually rebranded from only a few manufacturers, it should be OK. Of course also be aware they don't show the right picture on this page.

I purchased this quart of primer for interior panels. I feel that using a more familiar name brand paint system on the exterior would give me a more predictable result, but for the money the Eastwood Epoxy Primer is a good quality general purpose primer.

This was the first epoxy primer I ever shot. This product is awesome! Went on as smooth as a babies butt. Shot over Eastwood sprayable polyester, to make my wifes 57 Chevy daily driver, as straight as a string.
