Not A DIY BOOK (Posted on 2/28/14)

I was dissappointed that this book is more of an "About Metalworking" rather than "How To Metalwork" book. It is very expensive for what it delivers in terms of reference material, probably because the quality of photos and paper is very high. It seems to me to be more of an advertisement for Brian Fuller's metal work which clearly is superior and first class. Just not very helpful to someone wanting to build a car.

I read earlier reviews and decided to buy the book. In my case, poor choice. The book is very "slick", but the material is sparse. I was looking for more detail on each machine; how to use, examples of use. The coverage is very superficial.

All in all, I'm disappointed. I'll stick with DVD's and Youtube videos.

This book is awesome, these guys have done a great job writing this book . They have given you information in a way that you can take it in and use it without confusing you and it almost feels like your just hanging out in the shop with them ,very down to earth personalities that everyone should enjoy. I can't imagine anyone not getting something from this book, whatever skill level your coming from.

This book is a easy to read book from two guys who really know their stuff ,I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys working with metal. It reads like you are hanging out with a couple guys who just want to share a bunch of really cool tips and tricks of there trade and are very good about doing it in a way that it's easy to follow and understand. Mark is a teacher with plenty of experience at getting info out to people and has a good personality for doing what he does, you will not put this book down without learning something cool.

This book is very easy to read and understand. These guy's are the pro's. I have read all of the custom books out there and this one is a fresh approach. I thought the value was excellent, learned many things and I have been doing this for a long time as a hobbiest. This is a great book
