Good from what my dad tells me (Posted on 8/9/13)

I bought this for my dad for fathers day. he kept asking me whether it was good or not so i did research to find out. I needed to find a good primer/filler for his project car. he's built a fiber glass body kit car etc. so he needed one that wouldn't dissolve fiber glass. I found out about G2 feather fill, heard good reviews and decided to give it a shot. After it arrived he was so excited to use it. but he never had the time. he eventually found time to apply it and when he came inside after the spray job he kept telling me how fantastic it was spraying. he said he applied a little thinner to it to make it easier to spray. but he wouldn't stop talking about it for the next 2 days. when he finally got the chance to sand the car he again came inside and continued raving about how well it sanded and how smooth it was after he finished. he asked me to buy another gallon for him but this time i made sure it came out of his pocket. Overall I have no experience with the product but it made my dad really happy so I think its a great product.
Featherfill G2 Gray Primer - Really Good Stuff! (Posted on 7/10/12)

Good primer with high fill characteristics. Be sure and really stir up the container because there are a lot of solids on the bottom after the container has been on the shelf a while. Can be thinned with Acetone, which is the best to slow down the drying time. Add the Acetone if you are spraying in summer temperatures like we have here on Texas mornings (88 to 95 degrees F.) Use a 2.0 mm nozzle as a minimum, because this stuff is quite thick. Flows on very nicely when thinned. Use two coats to cover any body fillers. Dry sands (220 grit) without clogging the paper. One more coat, then 400 grit and then the topcoat. Very good product. Cleans up with Acetone.
Great stuff but be sure to have a 2.0-2.2 gun nozzle tip (Posted on 8/30/11)

Stir, stir, stir! Make sure there are no lumps in this before shooting. My results were best with a 2.1mm spray gun nozzle. Anything smaller runs the risk of clogging the gun. Builds up low areas nicely. Relatively EZ sanding.
