this charger and holder works so well, and does just what i wanted it to do, mainly keep my two batteries for my cycles charged up without overcharging. plus it is idiot proof; hook it up the wrong way and it doesn't break, just lights up the red idiot light. wow. i highly recommend this for people who need a smart charger as well as a battery tender. on top of that it is built like a mack truck.

I already had two single unit systems but I needed a double unit for my boat.
The boat has two batteries and is stored for about 5 months during our East Tennessee winter.
The single units keep my collector car and riding lawn more ready for spring.

I've owned a single BatteryTender for a number of years; putting it through continual use on my motorcycle. Wouldn't be without it. Now with a 2-Bank system, I've connected my M/C and SUV, using the "old" single for my lawnmower.
I really like the concept of the 2-Bank system. The only "problem" I had is that I found the same item at ACE Hardware for the same "sale price" at Eastwood. Even though that caught me off-guard, I'll still be shopping at Eastwood (just checking things a little closer).
