This light is very bright for only 30 leds.
Seems to light a wider area,and I haven't
had to charge it yet. The magnets on the end
are very strong plus it also has a hook.
This light also collapses inside itself and shuts
off. I like it.

It looked pretty good at first and I used a lot until one day I it just didn't work so I called Eastwood and I got a new one.

Since I still have the old one I decided to take a look inside an it looks pretty cheap build, there were few cables of the battery to short and bad welded and even a resistor came out from the small circuit board.

I'm happy with it but you get what you pay for 20 bucks and made in china.

Eastwood customer service is really good so as long as they keep it that way I will keep buying their products.

It performs exactly as shown in the video. I found that I move it around more than my corded light to better illuminate my work simply because it is easier to move. It stays where it’s put, not only because of the magnet (if it’s in use), but because the cord isn’t pulling on it (nor is it in the way). As best as I can tell, it has the same light output as my corded fluorescent work light, although less yellow, more blue. I have always had concerns with work light cords marring my paint. On the second day of use the light would not retract completely and therefore not turn off without pushing the switch (handy feature). I could hear a rattle. I removed the base. A third round magnet on the flip side of the base had come loose. I applied some Superglue to the base of the cup that holds it, clamped it for a few hours and all is good.

Light is rechargable, bright with adjustable brightness. Only gave 4 stars because of the flashlight potion - the button is intermittent. Could be a design flaw or I just got a bad one. Doesn't matter, I wanted it for the torch function, not as a flashlight. Already used it at least a dozen times since I got it last week.
