About Rat Rod Satin Black Urethane - 1 Gal. (3 Qts. + 1 Qt. Activator)
Sure, some like to "drive her in primer", or opt for a quick "rattle-can" paint job, but this activated, single-step acrylic urethane Rat Rod Satin Black is a smarter and much longer-lasting choice! Mix 3:1 with activator; no further reduction required. Complete coverage in two medium wet coats.
3/4-gallon Rat Rod Satin Black and 1-quart activator is enough to coat the outside of most cars.

I used this paint on my 1998 Dodge Durango. Ive looked all over for a nice easy application for a matte black finish. The paint went on easy and quick. I was surprised with how simple it went on, and the results are amazing. I get looks every time i drive it. This paint really set off the feel i was trying to get for the truck. It gives it that tough off road look that i was looking for. It really sets off the lift and bigger mud tires i put on it. It went over the bondo and primer awesome. I couldnt have asked for a better product for the price. I will use this product again on my new project a 1976 Vette.Value Quality Price -

Very easy to mix, spray and gives a slightly textured dark black(darker than epoxy primer). It covered the bondo more than the epoxy primer did so I'm glad I used this on top of the epoxy primer. Great combination. I painted a 1957 Ford car with this and it looks great.Price Value Quality -

I am not going to lie I was surprised at how nice this paint turned out. i bought it to paint a fiberglass hood on my truck to give it that old muscle car look. I was not looking to spend a lot of money on paint due to the fact that I was not sure that i would like the look. I am by no means a professional painter most paints that get sprayed end up getting wet sanded not this one. The paint it went on nice an smooth. The paint was easy to mix easy to spray has a nice finish and look to it. I will buy this line of paint agian.Value Quality Price -

Put the paint on my 94 firebird. Sprayed on real nice with a HVLP. Has a nice flat black look with a bit of texture to it. I mixed it 3:1 as stated on the directions. Had enough to cover the whole car and had some left over. Great Paint for the price and if your looking into the flat black paint this was the best solution i found.Value Quality Price -

I used this on my 1965 pickup to use until I could afford to paint it and have fell in love with it now so who knows when I'll paint now. I still have to get the bed done but using the rat rod black, over eastwood epoxy black, using the starting line gun kit everything worked well togather.I ve used sevral items from easwood with great results.Price Value Quality
