Sprayed smoothly from an inexpensive HVLP with no reducer necessary. Flowed out great.
I sprayed this without a paint booth, but was fortunate enough to have ideal temperature when spraying. The results far exceeded my expectations.
A bit of a learning curve for the beginner. (Posted on 12/14/13)

Goes on a little thicker than the spec sheets indicate. Comparing it to the other Eastwood products, this does not perform exactly as the spec sheets would indicate. It is bit more viscous and requires a 1:2 needle in the Concours Eastwood Gun or to open the needle all the way on a gun with a 1:4. All other adjustments on the gun should be open as well and dialed in as needed. I recommend you use 25 psi at the gun to start if you have a decent to high quality gun. Once you have the gun dialed in, this product works great and fills in nicely after the second pass. A third pass and most light imperfections are gone.

I sprayed this with the "Contour" gun with a 1.8 nozzle. I found I had to reduce it with one part reducer to get it to spray well. It fills minor imperfections beautifully and sands to a very smooth finish. The adhesion is excellent. Would definitely use it again.

I used this stuff on a bumper cover repair with great results.Just make sure you use a tip larger than a 1.4 if you are going to spray large panels without reducing it. Overall, i am very happy with it and will be ordering more for my other restoration projects.

I used this primer today on my 68 Merc. My car had the original paint except where it was worn off on the roof. It had a lot of small pits from surface rust. A couple of coats of primer, sand and it is smooth.
    Thanks Eastwood

The guys at Eastwood know me and they also know I use PPG products in the shop. However, I decided to give the Eastwood refinishing products a shot and I am really impressed with the way this prime sprays and more importantly how easily it sands.
I'll definitely be using more of their refinishing products in the future.
